WHO ARE WE?

Owner—Adam Jenkins, age 41, began sailing as a young boy, acquired his Master Mariners license at 18 years old soon he began working as a captain aboard Puget Sound and San Juan Island charter yachts.

In 1992. Adam embarked on a single-handed voyage down the Pacific Coast aboard Saint Brendan, his 27 foot sloop. After transiting the Panama Canal, he circumnavigated the Caribbean and explored the eastern seaboard. During this four year cruise, Adam made a living as a professional charter and delivery captain working aboard many different types of vessels through out the Caribbean and both coasts of the Americas. This valuable experience of working closely with long distance cruisers and various yacht owners taught him the lessons of what is logical and what is not when preparing for a voyage.

Returning to Seattle in 1996, Adam started Yacht Logic, primarily focusing on yacht delivery and professional captain service. In the past decade Yachtlogic has become one of the top Yacht delivery companies in the USA. We have delivered or managed vessels ranging from 27 to 300 feet.

In addition to yacht delivery, Yacht Logic has provided science support for ocean going research projects for NOAA, the USAP, NMFS and MBARI. Arctic to Antarctica the Yachtlogic Team has the knowledge and the experience for any marine venture.

Adam and his daughter Sophia live in San Diego California. They enjoy cruising their Tartan 34 Classic sloop, camping, surfing and traveling.
